Tomorrow morning I leave for Georgia with a group of guys (and Miranda) to discuss our discipleship process and how groups fit into it. We’re going to a hunting camp, so it’ll be somewhat rustic. And cold. The low Saturday is supposed to be in the mid-20′s. Man.
Miranda is mostly going to cook for us and enjoy some adult time alone while we’re meeting. I’m really looking forward to this last hurrah of my time away from the office. ‘Cause as soon as we get back I’ll be back in the office, getting ready to speak. And boy, am I pumped about it.
In fact, let me say this: if you know someone who is exploring Christianity (or needs to), whether they’ve been to RPC yet or not, you NEED to get them here on January 27th. I’ll be back to speaking then, and we’ll begin a new series called Escalator where we’ll discover what it means to be a fully devoted Christ-follower. But the big deal is that the first week (the 27th) we’ll discuss in a very straight-forward manner what it means to be a Christian.
So I’m checking out of the blogosphere until Monday some time. Don’t miss Sunday as Michael wraps up “From the Foyer To The Kitchen”.
Peace out.
