A few weeks ago John Maxwell started blogging. John is the guy when it comes to leadership lessons and principles. His name is well known among students of leadership, both Christian and secular.
Today he posted an incredibly personal and vulnerable story about something that happened to him recently. I was both shocked and encouraged by it. Shocked that someone so “high up” would be so transparent; and encouraged, because it’s nice to hear I’m not the only one that is an idiot sometimes.

Tim, I am more impressed with you and our church every Sunday. I am so pleased you posted your opinion about your marriage and the job you love. I have such respect for men that love their wifes. I can honestly say God blessed me with a man that loves and protects me also. I am so happy about the way GOD has lead us to RPC, through my son, I might add. We have just finished the ten week Staring POINT and so sad that it has ended but excited to see where GOD leads next. Have you gotten the MOVIE FIRE PROOF yet? Remember I told you it was the best movie I have ever seen. Well I am so excited it is for sale now at all the local stores AND it is on PAY for VIEW once you see it I KNOW you will be telling everyone to see it. Just thought I would share with you today.
