For those of you who were at RPC Sunday for my talk about daily bible reading, I thought I’d give you another option to the RPC reading plan that we handed out. Our plan is based on a plan by Robert Roberts, which can also be found online at http://www.youversion.com/reading-plan. Each day this link is updated to lead you to the passages for that day. It’s a great alternative for those of us who spend time on the internet each day, whether you have access at home or can access it from work (only on your own time, of course). Also, at the top of the youversion page you’ll see a link to download apps for your mobile phone (iPhone, Blackberry, etc), so you can read the bible anywhere without actually carrying one.
The bottom line? God’s word is more available to us than it has ever been, especially when we leverage our technology for kingdom purposes. Let’s take advantage of this incredible gift!
