Circumstances continue to remind me that when you attempt great things for God, Satan will do everything he can to derail you. What I underestimated, but is becoming clearer each day, is that he often uses small discouragements to shake you and make you want to quit. But what I’m noticing just as much lately is that for every small discouragement, God sends a small victory. Kind of his way of saying, “Don’t give up your faith just yet. I’m about to do something huge if you’ll just hang in there.”
Has anyone else experienced this, or am I crazy? Tell me.

I started a business a couple of years ago and the first job that I was going to do was not going to make money but to show God how thankful I was for what He had blessed me with. Wouldn’t you know that a friend called me up a few days before I was going to do my good deed and asked me to play golf! Little distractions can be part of the deal as well.
Doing a benefit walk year before last, I was $500 away from the minimum needed to meet my goal. I didn’t make it in time for the walk but was allowed another month to make it up. While I was there unloading my luggage I overheard a conversation about a guy having more than he needed and wished he knew someone that wasn’t at goal. He asked me if I knew of anyone? I don’t think that was luck!! He had $495 and when I got home there was a donation of $25. God is awesome like that!!
